  • Tim was born in Liverpool, England.He is an only child and was raised by his single parent mother Ursula Murray. At the age of 2 Tim contracted Rheumatoid Arthritis and he spent most of his early childhood being treated in a specialist hospital in Berkshire, Southern England.

    Once his condition stabled he returned with his mother to the family home in Wallasey, Merseyside where he attended Birkenhead Boy's School and Calday Grange Grammar before being accepted into Reading University to do a degree in Film and Drama.

    After graduating with a 2:1 in 1998 he won a Scholarship to the New York Film Academy where he studied the practical art of writing and directing for the silver screen.

    In 2001 he landed a job with Hallmark Entertainment in their European Development team in London where he worked with Producer Dyson Lovell on numerous high budget films for Television.

    In 2007 he left Hallmark to set up his own Company Little Fella Films and return to his first love of Writing and Directing.

    Since it's inception Tim has Written, Produced and Directed numerous Short films, several of which have won awards on both sides of the Atlantic.

    In 2018 the company secured a development deal to Write and Produce two feature films for general release. "An Evening with Donald Kempinsk" and "Jimmy No Legs" are Scheduled to be filmed in 2026/ 2027 respectively.

    Tim's other passion in life is Acting and he has worked professionally on several stage productions including "Mad Forrest" by Carol Churchil, "The Man with the Flower in his Mouth" by Luigi Pirandello, and Ben Johnson's "Magnetic Lady".
