  • Anton Kuryshev is a sound designer and audio post-production specialist working in feature films, television, documentary, animation and commercials. He studied mathematics at Lomonosov Moscow State University, photography at the Rodchenko Art School, and film sound at the Moscow School of New Cinema.

    He began working in audio post-production in the mid-2000s, initially in theatre and advertising, and joined the Cosmosfilm studio in 2014 as a sound supervisor, sound designer and re-recording mixer. His credits include Daniil Zinchenko's "Elixir", which premiered in the Forum program of the 66th Berlin International Film Festival in 2016; Ksenia Elyan's documentary "How Big Is the Galaxy?", which had its world premiere at the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam in 2018; "Eight Images from the Life of Nastya Sokolova" by Alina Kotova and Vladlena Sandu, which had its world premiere in the Ammodo Tiger Short Competition at the International Film Festival Rotterdam in 2018; and Masha Chernaya's "The Shards", which won the City of Lisbon Award for Best International Competition Film at the 22nd Doclisboa International Film Festival in 2024. He has also worked on the television series "Nezhnost" and "Identification".

    From 2020 to 2023 he taught audio post-production for film and television at the HSE Art and Design School in Moscow, where he developed his own course. Alongside his work in cinema he makes sound art and photography projects. He is based in Barcelona, Spain.
