Biography

Evandro Berlesi is a Brazilian actor, writer, screenwritter and filmmaker. He is the founder of the production company Alvoroço Filmes and the project "Alvoroço in Alvorada" (Bustle in Alvorada), which produces low-budget films with residents of the city of Alvorada, in the Greater Porto Alegre, in the southern state of Rio Grande do Sul, where he grew up and currently resides. He was in evidence in 2007 when he released his first book "Eu Odeio o Orkut" ("I Hate Orkut"), written and released with his unemployment insurance money, a fact that made him give interviews to various TV stations and newspapers. The first full-length movie released by its producer in 2008 was "Dá 1 Tempo!" ("Gimme a Time"). Later, a succession of other titles such as "Eu Odeio o Orkut" ("I Hate the Orkut", based on his book), "Eu Odeio o Big Bróder" ("I Hate Big Brother") and "O Maníaco do Facebook" ("The Facebook Maniac"), all of them produced with low-budget.
