Biography

Shekinah began study at Federico College of Beauty in Sacramento, Ca. in spring of 2002, and went on to became a Board Certified Aesthetician one year later. After practicing Aesthetics for a number of years, Shekinah decided to make Makeup Artistry more of a focus. She began to study Business Management at University of Phoenix, so as to gain the knowledge and skill set needed to manage her own Free-Lance career in Makeup Artistry. Concurrent to her Business studies, Shekinah also chose to enroll in an intensive hands-on workshop at Dinair, the company that revolutionized the cosmetic industry in the early 80's. There she studied under the world's leading experts in Airbrush Makeup, and became a certified Airbrush Artist. Shekinah was immediately offered a job with Dinair as an independent Artist. She accepted, traveling the US working at various Makeup-Schools, Conventions and Trade Shows, demonstrating and teaching her peers advanced techniques in Airbrush Makeup. Shekinah Garner now lives in Hollywood California. She practices as an Aesthetician at the historic Beverly Hilton and also pursues her Makeup endeavors avidly, booking work in Runway, Film, Commercial, Event and Print.
