- Dave Ellis Grim had several roles in college and community theater in the late 80's and early 90's in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. Since that time, however, he has made his mark in Arkansas as a vocalist and sports broadcaster. He has only recently begun film acting. Grim has relocated to Louisiana to continue his acting career.

- In the summer of 2006, Grim and a handful of other local singers opened for Percy Sledge at a show in Pocahontas, Arkansas.
