Biography

Jessica Rau is an LA-based singer and voice actor originally from Chicago. She has sung on many films including Disney's Wish (2023), Sing (2016), Pitch Perfect 3 (2017), Shazam! Fury of the Gods (2023), It (2017), and It: Chapter Two (2019). TV singing credits include Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist (2020) and Perry Mason (2020). Jessica has lent her voice to several video games, most notably as the Siren in God of War: Ragnarök (2022) and as Tory in Cobra Kai: The Karate Kid Saga Continues (2020). She is also an incredible mimic, having voice matched and recorded ADR for some of Hollywood's top actresses including Rachel McAdams and Reese Witherspoon. At home in children's media, Jessica is a regular contributor to the popular NPR children's podcast Circle Round (2017), to videos and movies in the Pinkfong/ Baby Shark universe including Pinkfong Sing-Along Movie 2: Wonderstar Concert (2022), and she has sweetened hundreds of KIDZ BOP releases. As a singer, she received early classical training with the Glen Ellyn Children's Chorus and earned a Bachelor of Music in Commercial Vocal Performance from Belmont University in Nashville. Before settling in LA, she spent six years in South Korea performing at English Village theme park and recording in-studio for a broad range of English-language projects. Jessica is a skilled voice director and audio engineer with a broadcast-quality home studio and is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA.

Jessica began her career as a voice actor and studio singer in Seoul, South Korea.

For the popular Korean television show "Surprise" in 2008, Jessica portrayed the role of tone-deaf soprano Florence Foster Jenkins who sang a sold-out concert at Carnegie Hall. Jessica is a real singer and actually sang at Carnegie Hall as a child with the Glen Ellyn Children's Chorus.
