- Ekaterina Andreeva is a Russian journalist, actress, presenter of the information program Vremya (1968) on Channel One.
As a child, she was thin, played basketball and spent a certain period of time at an Olympic reserve school. After school, Ekaterina entered the All-Union Legal Correspondence Institute (VYUZI) in the evening department. At the same time, she worked as an assistant at the General Prosecutor's Office in the office management department of the investigation department. After a life-threatening incident, she decided to leave her job at the prosecutor's office.
After some time, Andreeva entered the Moscow Pedagogical Institute named after Nadezhda Krupskaya. And after graduating from university in 1990, she entered courses for television and radio workers. Igor Kirillov himself became interested in her, and he individually taught Ekaterina voice-over skills.
Ekaterina Andreeva first appeared on screens in 1991. The first program in which she took part was Good Morning (1986). After this, Katya was assigned to present news on economic topics. Next, the presenter tried herself as a car expert on the 'Bolshie gonki' program. Since 1994 - editor of 'TSN' television information agency (directorate of ORT information programs). In 1995, she became the host of the information program 'ITA News' on Ostankino Channel. In 1997, Ekaterina Andreeva first took part in the information program Vremya (1968) as a presenter (replacing Arina Sharapova, who was on vacation). Until the end of 1998, she conducted regular newscasts, mainly morning and evening. In December 1998, she was appointed by Sergey Dorenko to the place of permanent presenter of the Vremya (1968) program of the ORT television company.
Andreeva starred in several films. The first time it was in the film Unknown Pages from the Life of a Scout (1991). A year later, she was invited to star in the film Ischade ada (1992), and in 1999 she played one of the main roles in the film 'In the Mirror of Venus'. In 2004, Ekaterina Andreeva starred in the film Lichnyy nomer (2004), where she played herself.
