Kyle Cherek

Kyle Cherek hosted the Emmy Award-winning television show Wisconsin Foodie from 2007-2019, on PBS, exploring food stories and explaining how they shape who we are. Though he travels the nation researching stories, he continues to live in his home state of Wisconsin. Since the inception of the show, he has become a sought-after keynote speaker, media contributor and culinary storyteller. He has been awarded the Wisconsin Broadcast Association Award twice for his essays on food culture. He has been featured on The Cooking Channel, The Travel Channel and Eater. In 2016, he gave a TEDx Talk examining the powerful science and emotion of food memories. In 2023 he announced he was in pre-production and development for his next show, Classic Eats, centered around the nations heritage and legacy restaurants.
