Biography

Born and raised in the Los Angeles area, Anthony Carrillo knew, as a young child, that he wanted to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. Showing a tremendous love for the arts, he decided to follow in the footsteps of his great-great grandfather, Spanish character actor Luis Alberni. In his teens, Anthony began taking drama classes, performing in various school productions and local community theater. As a runway model, he appeared in several Los Angeles fashion shows. In 2013, he landed a starring role in the feature film "Heavy Makeup," a mystery thriller set in the Hollywood Hills. In addition to acting, Anthony loves art, fashion and music. As a writer, he is developing a documentary about Janis Joplin and the psychedelic counterculture of the 1960's. Anthony is designing his own fashion line. Some of his early designs have been featured at various spaces during Downtown L.A.'s monthly Art Walk. In his spare time, Anthony loves yoga, playing guitar, drawing and thrift store shopping. He is a vegan and does volunteer work at various animal rescue organizations.
