Jacen Sievers is a narrative cinematographer known for his work on Netflix's The Anthrax Attacks (2022) and the upcoming feature film The Only Way Out is Through.
Originally from New Mexico, he moved with his family to Phoenix, Arizona at age seven. By nine, he had developed a passion for filmmaking, first creating home movies with the family camcorder, then experimenting with animation on the home computer. This early interest led him to participate in Arizona's CTE Film and Television program at Paradise Valley High School, and later to enroll at the Scottsdale School of Film+Theatre at Scottsdale Community College, where he graduated in 2013.
Jacen began his professional career in the camera and electrical departments before transitioning full-time into cinematography in 2019. In 2024, he was awarded a Gold Addy for Cinematography by the American Advertising Awards for his work the pop rock group Arizona's music video, Moving On.
