Biography

Zaydah-lee was born in Port Hedland and has the true 'Sandgroper' fighter spirit. From a child she was one who loved animals and performing. These loves have proving steadfast as she progressed through out her childhood and into adult life. It was evident a music appreciation was there from the start when she took up Clarinet in a senior concert band Winchelsea/Vic.

Continuing into her teenage years many awards were won for Theatre & Dance. Locally making a name as an upcoming entertainer.

Her family then moved from the Eastern States to Perth Western Australia where a step to make a professional start in the Modelling and Film Industry began. Signing with Spiers and Gemma International. Completing a calendar and winning photography competitions she realized her direction was steering more into the art of Filmmaking and the expression into Acting became too Strong a medium for her to refuse. It was not long before a college Diploma was awarded for Screenplaywriting

After successfully completing short and feature film productions local and Interstate a goal of gaining knowledge and skill to becoming a known Film Director is now in the immediate future.

Zaydah-lee entered the first season of Australian Idol in 2003. She completed first stage of the Perth heats and was asked back for the next round. She did not make it further and the winner for that year was Guy Sebastian.

I believe without Artists we would have no concept of beauty at all. It is because of our expression in our chosen medium, which allows our Passion to be delivered into the world. This is what my personal life's journey has been made up of from a very young age ... the drive to leave a mark in the world. Beginning with Dance and choir/band local talent shows. I then progressed into my teens with college study in Screenplaywriting for film. Later into early 20's this evolved into media. It is important for me to get my story out there although now realizing it is not often the story 'But he who tells it!' Which is of most importance. I work hard, always with the goal of one day Directing. Film has taken precedence in my life and is the makeup of who I solely am. Zaydah~lee?
