Biography

Bryson Sams is an American director and director of photography known for his work in music-driven and commercial storytelling. He is the co-founder of TapeSlate Productions.

Sams began his career as a child actor, gaining early on-set experience that shaped his understanding of performance and visual storytelling. He later transitioned behind the camera, where he has written, directed, and produced numerous short films, often filling many roles on set, building a foundation in narrative filmmaking.

He co-founded TapeSlate Productions, a Tennessee-based film and media company focused on music videos, branded content, and narrative projects. Beyond his own work, Sams has supported a wide range of productions across the United States, with a strong presence in the Middle Tennessee film community, where he has contributed to the growth of independent and commercial projects alike.
