Biography

Erin Morris is an American Stage, commercial, Film, and Television Actress born and raised in St. Peters, Missouri (May 23, 2000). Her first stage play, A Christmas Carol, opened at Lindenwood University in 2010. In 2012, her early career started to unfold quickly as she landed roles in two St. Louis based Independent films that year, where many of the producers recognized her strong performances in the projects. In 2013, she was among the first to be cast in the first St.Louis drama pilot TV Series the area had seen in several years where she played series regular "Erin O'Byrne" in Up on High Ground.

Throughout middle school and high school, Erin could be found in countless plays, choir concerts and talent shows where she would often sing and play acoustic guitar. Some of Erin's favorite roles she got to play growing up include "Belle" in Beauty & the Beast, "Kim MacAfee" in Bye Bye Birdie, "Queen Aggravain" in Once Upon a Mattress, and "Ariel Moore" in her senior production of Footloose. Erin acted on multiple UN-aired TV Pilots, at age 16 and 17, and was by far the youngest cast-member in the two adult comedy Pilots.

Upon graduating high school, Erin's career came back full circle as she decided to attend Lindenwood University majoring in Musical Theatre. Erin starred in several of Lindenwood's student films, including Then and Now for which she won the "Best Actress" Lindy Award (2019). Less than a year after beginning college, Erin decided that she no longer wanted to stay in her hometown. At age 19, Erin moved herself to New York City to attend an intensive 3 month program at the International College of Musical Theatre (ICMT). As of Spring 2020, Erin lives in Manhattan and will be studying Meisner Technique full time at The Neighborhood Playhouse starting Fall 2020.
