David J. Goldfarb is an American actor and voice artist from Seattle, Washington. He studied improv at The Groundlings in Los Angeles and with Gary Austin in New York.
He is known for voicing Ludwig von Koopa in Mario Kart 8 (2014) and for his work in video games, commercials, and film. His credits also include the character Dr. Wallow in Bombing Bastards (2014) and a parody of Captain Kirk in a Volkswagen commercial.
Earlier in his career, Goldfarb was hired by Disney to perform on-set and post-production voice work for the character Chance in Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey (1993), supporting production during filming. His film work has appeared in projects recognized at regional festivals.
In addition to screen work, Goldfarb has performed stand-up comedy across the United States and Canada. While in college, he won a regional MTV Comedy Laugh Off and placed in the top five nationally.
