- Parosh Shaways is a Stockholm-based filmmaker with a passion for directing and cinematography. He studied filmmaking at the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles, then located at Universal Studios, where he developed a strong foundation in visual storytelling and film production. Shaways' interest in filmmaking began at a young age after discovering behind-the-scenes footage from films he watched growing up, which sparked a deep curiosity about the craft of cinema. At the age of 18, shortly before attending the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles, he created his first feature film, The Shaddows of Two Brothers, marking the beginning of his journey as a filmmaker. His creative focus lies in drama, thriller, and horror, with an emphasis on emotionally driven stories that explore human connection and inner experience. Shaways attended the Cannes Film Festival Short Film Corner with his film Eye on the Ball. As a filmmaker, he aims to create stories that move and inspire audiences while reminding people that they are not alone in their feelings and experiences. In addition to his filmmaking career, he is also a Computer Scientist, having graduated from KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
