Biography

Heléna Antonio is a multi award-winning director, actress and producer with credits across more than 50 film and television projects. Her acting credits include CBS’s FBI: International, Netflix’s Supersex and Tutti a Bordo. She won Best Actress at BIFA-qualifying Brighton Rocks for Pay the Witch.

Heléna is the founder of Nymeria Films, a prolific London-based film production company. Over the last couple of years, she wrote and directed her debut feature Blurred, currently in post-production, produced Eyes Everywhere, starring Christopher Lambert, together with working on many other projects, as for feature films, documentaries and short films.

Heléna’s directorial debut 2020 screened at international festivals, including Venice, and won Best Short Film at the 72nd Montecatini Film Festival. Internal Abyss was nominated for a 2024 Royal Television Society Award.

As member of Directors UK, Heléna works internationally and is currently developing a slate of feature films and international co-productions.

Heléna is due to release three feature films in 2026 and more productions are underway for the coming years.
