Biography

I have faced discrimination. I have been told I can't do this as I don't look Indian enough. People say 'she is a good actor but she doesn't (look) Indian'.

Everyone should have their own idea of beauty. We're all different and we need to be just that!

My mother and father stuck with me through thick and thin when there were a lot of pressures and questioning coming from my relatives. My parents sheltered me through all that. Now, I see the smile on their faces and how proud they feel. That is what is most important. And the questioning has stopped too.
