Estonian screenwriter and director with twelve years of experience in folk dancing. A graduate of the Baltic Film and Media School, Janno Jürgens gained international recognition with his short film Distance (2012), which premiered at the Locarno Film Festival. His feature debut, Rain, premiered in 2020. His second feature, No Me Without You, a psychological drama exploring the complex bond between two sisters, is set to premiere in autumn 2026. He is currently working on his third feature, The Man Who Wasn't Meant.
