  • Robert Palmer Watkins caught the acting bug early on, beating out hundreds of other teens for the coveted role of Danny in Barksdale Theater's production of "Grease." After 4 years of training at a center for the arts high school, then 2 years studying musical theater at Christopher Newport University, he left everything behind to move west where he would develop his craft further, graduating from the prestigious American Musical and Dramatic Academy in Hollywood. Robert most recently appeared on 'Swat'/CBS, 'The Final Rose'/Tubi, and a long stint in AMC's "The Walking Dead: World Beyond," playing Lt. Frank Newton. Watkins also racked up 191 episodes in his two and a half years as Dillon Quartermaine on ABC's iconic "General Hospital." He has starred in several action thrillers, "Last Three Days" and "Six Feet," with several more features to be released this year, including "Trapped Inn" and Netflix's 'Uglies' directed by McG. In between acting, Robert has a full blown music career under the name "Palmer", with his original music available on all music platforms.
