Born in Brazil, where produced and directed TV shows for TV Bandeirantes, one of the country's largest TV channels. Seeking to deepen her gasp of filmmaking, traveled to New York in 2011. There, she studied filmmaking, then specialized in Cinematography. Continued to work for major TV Channels
such as TV Globo and Arte 1 as an international correspondent.
As a Director of Photography, has shot several award-winning projects, garnering prizes in festivals in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016. The main characteristics of Emilia's work are the strong visual personality, connected with a deep understanding of the movie making process. Understanding character, environment, knowing how to transmit feelings through lighting and composition.'
