  • Aashish Dubey is a distinguished filmmaker with a rich background in film education and numerous international achievements. A graduate of the National Film Archive of India's Film Appreciation course (2007), Dubey further honed his skills in Documentary Filmmaking at La Femis Film School, Paris (2014), on a full scholarship from Campus France and the French Embassy of India. Based in Mumbai since 2007, his career reflects his dedication to both Indian and global cinema.

    Dubey's work has received critical acclaim and has been showcased at prestigious festivals worldwide. His short film Aisa Hota Hai (2012) was screened at the Fribourg International Film Festival, in Switzerland, and the Festival of Nations, in Austria, where it earned the Bronze Medal. It also won the Best Screenplay Award at the Kala Ghoda Art Festival, Mumbai, in 2013. In addition to this, Dubey directed the short documentary Le Louxor Palais Du Cinema in Paris (2014), exploring French cinema culture, and Me and I (2017), which screened at the Eurasian International Film Festival in Kazakhstan. His third short film, Rahan, was selected for the Short Film Focus section at the Signs Film Festival in Kerala, India, in 2021.

    In recent work, his TV commercial Janhit Me Jari was nominated for the German Star of India Award 2024 in the TV Commercial category at the 21st Indian Film Festival in Stuttgart, Germany.
