Pari Telang is a versatile Indian actress, voice artist, and television host, predominantly recognized for her extensive work in Marathi cinema and television.Born in Mumbai, Pari Telang was immersed in the world of entertainment from a young age due to her father, Bhushan Telang, a prominent personality in film and theater. This strong artistic lineage allowed her to begin her career as a child artist in Marathi plays and films like Suna Yeti Ghara. She also gained early recognition for her role as Akanksha Joshi in the pioneering Zee Marathi TV serial Abhalmaya (1999-2000). Telang completed her degree at Ruia College in Mumbai before transitioning to adult roles.Her entry into Marathi cinema came in 2011 with the release of two notable films: Morya, directed by Avdhoot Gupte, and Guldasta.Telang is most widely acclaimed for her role as the formidable Sub-Inspector Disha Suryawanshi in the long-running popular Marathi series Lakshya on Star Pravah, a role she embodied from 2011 to 2015 and which ran for over 700 episodes.
