Aldo Uribe

ALDO URIBE, was born in San Antonio, Texas with roots in Monterrey, Mexico. Fluent in English and Spanish, he has starred in multiple international projects including Narcos (Netflix), My Mother and Other Strangers (BBC) and The Chosen (Amazon Prime).

After moving to New York at age 18, he graduated with a BFA in Theatre (CUNY) and immediately began working in the NY Theatre scene. He is a founding member of INTAR’S Unit 52, a fellow of the famed Labyrinth Theatre Company, and has worked on Broadway as a lead Fight Director for shows like Girl from the North Country, the national tour of Cambodian Rock Band and many more.

Proficient in many skills, Aldo grew up changing tires and working construction while learning to play guitar and singing in church, which originally led him to musical theatre. Upon moving to New York he began boxing at the legendary Mendez Boxing Gym and was hired as a trainer for over a decade while developing his acting career. Training with legends like Mike Tyson, Floyd Mayweather Sr, and Jorge Linares has led him to be one of the most skilled actor/boxers in the industry. When he’s not in the ring, he’s sharpening his skills on horseback, dancing salsa, or chasing his daughters around the house.
