Biography

Vincent Vermignon is a French-Caribbean bilingual actor with an extensive career across French and international film and television. Originally from Martinique, he has built a diverse body of work spanning long-running television series, independent cinema and international productions.

He is widely recognized for his recurring role as Stefan in the long-running French television series CUT (2014 to 2018), where he appeared across several seasons. His international credits include Jean-Xavier in the HBO limited series The Staircase (2022), alongside Colin Firth, Juliette Binoche and Toni Collette.

In cinema, Vincent is part of the main cast of Anthony Chen’s Drift (2023), starring Cynthia Erivo. The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and reflects his growing involvement in international, character-driven cinema.

Fluent in French and English, and speaking several Creoles, Vincent moves naturally between languages, cultures and production environments. He is particularly drawn to stories exploring identity, displacement, cultural intersections and human complexity, with a strong affinity for distinctive filmmakers and character-driven narratives.
