Biography

Katie Jones has worked as a director, teacher, puppeteer and improviser in Chicago for the past seven years. During that time, she has worked with Northlight Theatre, American Theatre Company, Citadel Theatre, Second City, Improv Olympic, Steppenwolf's Crosstown Teen Ensemble, Von Orthal Puppets, and Theatre Zarko, among others. Katie also found Wishbone Theatre Collective, a bright new company in its third season. Before moving to Chicago, Katie worked for a season at the Asolo Theatre in Sarasota, Florida and is also a member of Directors Lab and Puppeteers of America. She graduated from Clemson University in 2004, with Performing Arts degree and minors in Spanish and Philosophy. Tuesday Night Make Out is her first film.
