Mariana Lopez(II)

A native of the Bay Area, Mariana holds a BA in Media, Film, and Gender & Sexualities Studies from the University of San Francisco. She has worked in the Bay Area film community in varying capacities for over a decade and first began working for Frameline in 2008 as the print traffic coordinator, a role she held during Frameline32-34. Mariana returned to Frameline in her current year-round role in 2014 and is thrilled to be part of a non-profit that shines light on the LGBTQ+ experience through her favorite artistic medium. Prior to returning to Frameline, Mariana spent four years at UC Berkeley's BAMPFA as the print traffic coordinator and film program coordinator. When not at Frameline, Mariana can be found in or near a body of water (preferably rivers and lakes), hiking, bike riding, taking acting classes, petting other people's dogs, and planning for her next outdoor adventure.
