  • Sinéad O’Riordan is an Irish actor and producer and the founder of ORion Productions. Her screen work includes the Element Pictures series The Dry, as well as Curers, Mir, Abode and the independent feature Swing Bout.

O’Riordan starred in and produced Swing Bout, which had its world premiere at the Dublin International Film Festival in 2024, where she was nominated for a Discovery Award. The film went on to a four-week Irish theatrical release, won Best Picture at the Paladino d’Oro Sport Film Festival and secured international distribution. In September 2026, Swing Bout made its national television premiere on RTÉ2, airing in a prime-time slot on the eve of Katie Taylor’s Croke Park fight.

As a producer, O’Riordan co-produced the Puttnam Award-winning short Wireless, which screened at Oscar- and BAFTA-qualifying festivals, and the Screen Ireland-funded short Conversations with My Dead Father, winner of Best in Cork at the Fastnet Film Festival. Her producing credits also include the feature Dead Along the Way and the comedy series Sucking Diesel.

Beyond her own productions, O’Riordan has worked as an EPK producer on major international film and television productions including Netflix’s Lift and Apple TV’s Swagger. She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Producing through Screen Ireland/TU Dublin and has served as a judge, panelist and host within the Irish film industry.
