Dina Salem Levy is a Brazilian production designer and set designer working in film and theater. She holds a degree in Architecture from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and the École d’Architecture in Versailles (France). She also has a Master degree in Scenography at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London.
She won the Cesgranrio Theatre Award in 2018 for the set design of "Cérebro Coração" and the Kikito Award for Best Production Design at the Gramado Film Festival (2021) for the feature film "A Yellow Animal". Her work has been recognized both in Brazil and internationally, with films premiering at major international festivals, including "Medusa", which debuted at the Cannes Film Festival in 2021, earning her a nomination from the Brazilian Film Academy for the Platino Award for Best Production Design.
She was a finalist for the Brazilian Film Grand Prize (2019) for her work on "Benzinho". In 2021, she was a finalist for the ABC Award for her work on "A Yellow Animal" and the series "Os Últimos Dias de Gilda", and in 2022 for the series "Second Call". In 2024, she won Best Production Design at the 34th Cine Ceará for the feature film A Wolf Among Swans.
She has collaborated with directors such as Lucia Murat, Anita Rocha da Silveira, Felipe Bragança, Gustavo Pizzi, Joana Jabace, Angelo Defanti, and Carolina Jabor, among others.
