Elena Gaby is a Peabody-winning Brazilian American filmmaker, specializing in non-fiction storytelling. Based in Queens, New York, Elena directs and produces film, television, social media videos and branded content. The film she produced most recently, Jane Elliott Against the World, premiered at Sundance and won numerous audience awards across the US. After graduating from Vassar College, Elena's short film, Paper State: Undocumented Unafraid, Undeterred, won multiple awards, including Best Student Documentary at Cannes Film Festival's American Pavillion. I Am Human was her feature length directorial debut, premiering at Tribeca.
