  • A New York native, Beverly is an award-winning screenwriter and author. She began her screenwriting studies at The Gotham Writers' Workshop, after retirement from the corporate world. Writing in different genres, she completed several screenplays, many of which are official selections, winners and contest-placed. She converted two of her screenplays into award-winning novels and then wrote a non-fiction women's book.

    Her comedy screenplay Rent Money won: 2012 Beverly Hills International Film Festival Golden Palm Award for Best Screenplay

    Her coming of age/family drama screenplay Concrete Wings won: 2022 World-Fest International Houston Film Festival Gold Remi Award for the Historical/Period Piece Category. 2021 Accolade Global Film Competition for Best Screenplay in two categories Latin/Hispanic and Personal Growth 2021 World Film Carnival - Singapore for Best Feature Script 2021 Hollywood on the Tiber Film Awards for Best Original Story 2021 8 & Half Film Awards for Best International Writer
