Biography

Andrew Kristiaman is an award-nominated screen editor, who completed his Post-graduate diploma in Editing at AFTRS - the Australian Film, Television and Radio School. Andrew has worked as the editor for a number of films (feature and short), television series and commercial content. His work has played internationally at festivals including Telluride Film Festival, Cannes Cinema Des Antipodes and Sydney Film Festival, to name a few.

In 2017, the Australian Screen Editors' Guild nominated Andrew for 'Best Editing in a Drama Non-Feature' for his work on Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow (2017), alongside some of Australia's leading television shows - ABC's Pulse (2017), and Channel 9's Hyde & Seek (2016) and Love Child (2014).

Day to day, Andrew works as a freelance editor and is also the Head of Post Production at Carve and Stitch - a post production studio he founded, following increasing demand for his commercial editing and motion design. The team at Carve and Stitch primarily works on commercial and branded content, but also works on long form visual effects. Their skill set includes editing, motion design, 3D animation, VFX, color grading, sound design and sound mixing.

On the technical side of things, Andrew is fluent with Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere and After Effects, while also having a sound working knowledge of Da Vinci Resolve.
