Biography

Serena Armitage is an Oscar winning film producer from York. Her work straddles film and tv, scripted and unscripted. She set up Red Breast Productions in 2016 after a decade working in broadcast television and her projects include Peter Strickland's Flux Gourmet released by IFC and Curzon, Benjamin Cleary's Academy Award winning short film Stutterer, Portia A. Buckley's IFTA winning short Clodagh, Peter Strickland Blank Narcissus: Passion Of The Swamp now being streamed on MUBI, Sarah Clift's BAFTA recognised The Birth of Valerie Venus, streaming om Disney+ and Bored a series pilot directed by Georgia Oakley that premiered at SXSW.
