Andrew pursued his career in film in 2007 and graduated Staffordshire University with a BA Hons degree in Film Studies followed by an MA in Film Production, Practice & Theory. Within 2 years Andrew produced 4 short films, 2 feature projects and a web panel series. The acclaimed 'Cleansing' was a 1 hour film that was filmed within 7 hours in one night, and caught the attention of people in Hollywood.
Andrew found mentors in Los Angeles in directors David Zucker (Airplane!, Naked Gun), Russell Mulcahy (Highlander, The Shadow), Robert Harmon (The Hitcher), The Estevez/Sheen family and producer Fred Roos (The Godfather Trilogy, Apocalypse Now). Andrew has working partnerships with Richard Mirisch, Jay Oliva and George Gallo on a number of projects, utilizing his skills as writer, producer and director.
Andrew co-wrote The Accidental Gangster with George Gallo, as well as Our Man in London and his soon to be directorial debut Deeper Than 6ft. Andrew was also writer, producer and host of the Poddywood podcast.
