Biography

Michele Mortensen is an actress, stand-up comic, and professional musician, best known for her roles in "Spin the Plate," The Angry Word of Brian Webster," and "Going My Way," an award-winning short film she also wrote and produced. She began acting after a successful career as a professional musician, performing with such distinguished entertainers as Ray Charles, the "E Street Revue" and Georgia Engel. A versatile performer, her roles have included playing an alcoholic abused wife, a chain-smoking woman on oxygen, and a loving grandmother dying from cancer. She also appeared in an Elite Daily video, "Grandmas Define Modern Slang" that was featured in The Huffington Post."
