Biography

Claudio was born in Colombia, raised in Medellin where as a child in school started writing short stories on notebooks for his friends to read.

After noticing the interest of his friends and other kids in the school about his stories, he decided to write a novel at the age of thirteen.

In high school he offered himself to represent school in a theater exhibition; he wrote and Directed a short play, and experienced for the first time directing a story and working with actors, art design and a complete production of bringing a story to life. After the play was a success, Claudio found out that what he wanted to do was movies.

When he graduated, he left his home country Colombia to Australia in 2008, where he enrolled in JMC Academy to study digital television production. after a couple of years of devoting himself to movies and stories, Claudio left again to pursue his dream in Hollywood. he enrolled in the New York Film Academy and completed the one year program of filmmaking. During this process, he wrote and directed over five short films, focusing on his Thesis: the thriller short"Lacrimosa", and worked on numerous shootings of several other film schools of los angeles such as AFI, LA Film School and UCLA. Claudio is a young Director with great vision and high storytelling skills, he has experience of protocol in sets and knowledge of the process from pre-production to post. He focuses on writing and Directing; he lives in Studio City, CA.
