EGOR BARANOV is an award-winning filmmaker - now based in Los Angeles full-time - known for his affection for "dark genre," groundbreaking visuals and talent to tell stories in a new never before seen way. His impressive track record includes three highly-successful TV series: THE LOCUST, FARTSA, and SPARTA (available on Netflix), as well as numerous critically-acclaimed and highly-successful features like THE NIGHTINGALE, THE ROBBER, GOGOL Trilogy, and THE BLACKOUT: INVASION EARTH, which was a massive sci-fi-action hit that secured wide international distribution, becoming the #1 movie in Europe at the time, which subsequently led for it to be released as a 6-episode Amazon TV-series.

Egor's ability to create impressive visuals and build massive worlds has helped him develop a reputation of a revolutionary filmmaker with his own unique style capable of delivering ambitious and expansive projects on modest budgets - currently, he has a handful of original ideas, as well as some noteworthy pieces of IP that he's developing right now.

Egor currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife, Ukrainian writer & director DINA SHTURMANOVA, and their new born son.
