Biography

Stephen Hermann is an award-winning sound designer, music producer, and mix engineer with over 25 years of experience in the industry. In the '90s, he was an artist and producer affiliated with the renowned indie label Slabco Records, signing deals with Sony Music Publishing and the Beastie Boys' label, Grand Royal. His projects include Sukpatch, Explosion Robinson, (his band name before launching the company), and collaborations with the legendary indie-pop sensation The Cannanes. He also co-wrote and produced for Anthem Facility, securing sync placements for HBO and a Dell Computer advertising campaign.

Since founding Explosion Robinson in 2004, Stephen has shaped the sonic identity of multiple television networks, produced music for hundreds of commercials, and sound designed and mixed thousands more. Working closely with producers, directors, agencies, and brands, he ensures every piece of content sounds its absolute best-enhancing stories and engaging audiences through masterfully crafted audio.
