Biography

Ian SBF was born and raised in the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. For over ten years he has been dedicated to experimenting with formats and languages, creating content for the most varied screens. In 2006 he decided to pursue a career as a screenwriter and director, making the short film O Lobinho Nunca Mente. In 2010, he created the YouTube channel Anões em Chamas and in 2012, he created the YouTube channel Porta dos Fundos in partnership with Fábio Porchat, Gregório Duvivier, Antonio Tabet and João Vicente de Castro, becoming the most watched channel in Brazil in less than a year. In 2017, he launched with the illustrator Thobias Daneluz, the channel "Sociedade da Virtude", an animation series in the motion comics style, inspired by superhero comics. In 2018, he joined the directors' team at O2 Filmes, where he received several advertising awards. In partnership with O2, in 2021 he launched the series Não Era pra Ser uma Comédia on his own Instagram profile, which won the Ciclope Latino award in 2022. In 2022 he wrote, directed and financed the independent film Ciclo.
