- Logan Loughmiller was born in a small town on the outskirts of Tyler, Texas to psychologist Grover Loughmiller and organist Carol Loughmiller. At age 17 he moved from small town Texas to New York City where he lost his accent and gained perspective and life experience. From living on the road, camping in the Anasazi Mountains for months on end, organizing a free clothing store at Burning Man for years, to varied curious vocations including working on a traveling circus crew and constructing mausoleums.
Logan Loughmiller first set foot on stage at age 26. The experience nested deep roots. Over the following years he emerged as a recognized force in the vibrant Portland scene of theatre, film and television. He spent several years in Los Angeles, during which time he performed in projects with Academy Award winner Mikey Madison, two time Academy Award winning director Terry Sanders, acclaimed actor Eion Bailey and has been in countless film and theatre projects.
In 2019, after a major shift in his personal life, he changed his focus to stand up comedy and comedic acting. He has been performing stand up and sketch comedy all over the nation ever since. He has said that stand up comedy brought him into his deepest state of performance authenticity in acting, regardless of whether the role was comedic or dramatic. He was drawn to stand up and sketch comedy, as a way to provide relief to people from the difficulties of everyday life in real time and is a firm believer that comedy is a healing, altruistic contribution to society for everyone involved in the experience.
He continues to create compelling and interesting characters, bringing raw honesty and a colorful spectrum of vast life experience.
