Biography

Xiang Zi was four months pregnant expecting her second daughter when she started shooting "A Dog Barking at the Moon".

One day I was in the lab working on the post with the sound engineers while I was breast-feeding my seven days old baby and recovering from a c-section. Then my baby girl bit quite hard on my nipple, and in that second I knew I was giving everything for my movie.

We shot the movie in 18 days because we didn't have money for more. We had no margin for extra days, so we did a very meticulous preproduction.
