- Monika Revilla was born in Mexico City and lived in Madrid and Berlin before becoming a screenwriter. She wrote the documentary Café, winner of the Grand Prix at Visions du Réel, and later wrote and executive produced Dance of the 41 (2020). Her recent television work includes the legal thriller Presumed Innocent (2024) and the sci-fi series Blade Runner 2099 (2026).
