Biography

Kshitij Patwardhan is an Indian director, screenwriter, lyricist, and playwright based in Mumbai.

His lyrical work for Haseen Dillruba earned him his first Hindi Filmfare nomination for Best Lyrics. He has collaborated with Maddock Films on projects including Happy Teachers’ Day (dialogues and additional screenplay), starring Nimrat Kaur and Radhika Madan, and Sajini Shinde Ka Viral Video. He also wrote the story, screenplay, and dialogues for the drama series Taali, starring *Sushmita Sen, released on Voot Select.

Patwardhan has also contributed as a writer to the 2024 film Singham Again. He has written 15 Marathi feature films, directed one film, and penned over 150 songs for Marathi and Hindi cinema. He is a multiple-time Filmfare Awards (Marathi) nominee and recipient, and has received several honours for his work in cinema and social storytelling.
