Dougie Hawkes has an industry record stretching over 40 years from beginnings assisting at its lowest form to a gradual progression to now designing. He has worked across the full spectrum of costume: Purist/Period- Fantasy/Period- Superhero- Contemporary. However a period costume specialist and historian. 'My main thing is being passionate about the project I'm in using every inch of skills attained from the masters of costume design who I've been very fortunate enough to work with!'
