Mariana Bley works as a director, cinematographer and camera operator. Her work unfolds at the intersection of affection, politics, and sensation, reverberating through the questioning of social and intimate space, expanding into other perspectives of existence.
As a cinematographer, she worked on the feature films "Whereabouts" which won the Special Jury Prize at the premiere of 2024 Rio Film Festival and "Dom Salvador and the Abolition" which won Best Film at the IN-Edit Festival 2023. She also photographed the short films "The Best" which won Best Cinematography at the Amburana Film Festival and an honorable mention at the 2024 FICI and "Love became more distant every day" which won numerous awards, including Best Film at the Huesca Ibero-American Film Festival. She has photographed and operated cameras on several television programs and music videos. For 10 seasons he photographed the series "Welcome" on the GNT channel, winner of the Entertainment Programs: Family programs award - New York Festivals - TV Film Awards - NY.
