Elias Moadab

Elias Moadab is an Egyptian actor. He is a Jew by religion. He graduated from the Lycée in 1932 and lived on Al-Farakh Street in the Jewish Quarter in the Cairo neighborhood of Al-Daher. He started his work repairing watches, then worked as a monologist at private weddings and became famous in the Levantine dialect. Until he got to know Bishara Wakim and Ismail Yassin, who introduced him to the dancer Baa Ezz El-Din, where he worked with her in the casino she owned in Cairo, the Bosphorus Casino, and through it, he launched into the world of cinema. His cinematic career began in 1947, and Ismail Yassin participated in 12 films. His last film was shown in 1954, entitled The Tiger, and that was two years after his death.
