Chrisanne Gordon

Dr. Chrisanne Gordon is a licensed MD in Ohio, California and Arizona. In 2012, Dr. Gordon produced the documentary "Operation Resurrection" to call attention to the effects of Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) sustained in the Global War on Terror among military personnel and veterans . The documentary was aired on Capitol Hill in celebration of Veterans Day on 11/12/13 to acclaimed reviews. Veterans highlighted in the film courageously shed light on an epidemic that was not yet at the nation's forefront. After the airing of "Operation Resurrection", Dr. Gordon was urged to create the non-profit "Resurrecting Lives Foundation" (RLF), which became a 501 c3 in 2012. In addition, the term Traumatic Brain Injury began appearing in legislation to support health care benefits of veterans. After its formation, RLF funded a ground breaking study with Michael Lipton, MD , PHD, neuroradiologist at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, in New York City. Dr. Lipton's study provided proof of brain injuries sustained from Improvised Explosive Devices, IED Blast, and let to further research promoting accurate diagnosis and treatment for TBI.
