Jake Jacobson was born in Portland, Oregon and is a Hollywood transplant. He first studied and got the acting bug in high school. Touring the country for many years as a stand up comedian. Jake's parents are Don Jacobson, and Fern Jacobson, from Oregon, a life-long pastor and pastor's wife, so when Jake got the chance to be in two faith-based film's, My Daddy's In Heaven, and Sunrise In Heaven, he jumped at the chance. It gave his mom, Fern, a chance to get some of her church friends to the theater to watch her baby boy in action.

Jake has two older brothers and one older sister. In order, Dan Jacobson, Doug Jacobson, and DeAnn Jacobson-Douglas. So, as a youngest of 4, he has never stopped trying to get the attention of his siblings as well as the rest of the world. Ergo.... Actor.
