Mary-Kate FitzPatrick was born in Walnut Creek, California, to Linda Walker (FitzPatrick), business owner, and Jerry FitzPatrick Jr., the owner of FitzPatrick Chevrolet. She is from Colombian, Irish, Scottish, and Portuguese decent. The family lived in Danville, California for 20 years before relocating to Palm Desert, CA. When FitzPatrick was 18, she moved to Los Angeles.
After graduating from Carondelet High School in Concord, FitzPatrick attended Mount Saint Mary's University Los Angeles, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Film, Media, and Social Justice in 2013. After graduation, she continued practicing the craft of storytelling in her role as Department Specialist for the Masters Film & Television program at Hollywood Center Studios.
She commenced her journey at StudioTEN in 2017, stepping into the role of Post-Production Producer for MotorTrend Original Programming. Over the years, her dedication, expertise, and unwavering commitment to excellence propelled her ascent within the company. In the wake of the Warner Brothers Discovery merger, Mary-Kate's contributions did not go unnoticed, leading to a promotion to the position of Senior Post-Production Producer.
