In S. Govorukhin's film "The Meeting Place Cannot Be Changed," V. Zharikov participated in stunts three times: he replaced a policewoman who was hit by a car, a waitress in a restaurant thrown out of a window, and Fox in the fight scenes.

In the 1980s, he founded a stunt school in Odessa, which lasted ten years. Then he taught at the Moscow stunt training school of the All-Russian Association of Stuntmen "Master", and organized his own private film company "Mustang". He owned all types of weapons and performed stunts while driving a car. The first film shot on the Mustang was the autobiographical documentary "The Outsider".
