- Vladimir Zharikov was born on November 6, 1938 in Smolensk, RSFSR, USSR [now Russia]. He was an actor, known for Pirates of the 20th Century (1980), Tayny madam Vong (1986) and Nenavist (1977). He died on May 10, 2024 in Russia.
- After graduation, he worked as a scientist and stuntman for a time before focusing more fully on his chosen career.
- In the 90s, he became a victim of scammers and lost his apartment. The Guild of Actors of the RF IC thanked the Union of Cinematographers of Russia for providing assistance in solving the housing problem of the 80-year-old actor.
- A Soviet Spetsnaz serviceman during the Vietnam War, Zharikov subsequently attended the University of Odessa in 1968.
